On August 2, 1971, the Bulova Lunar Pilot Chronograph was worn by astronauts on a mission to the Moon, a watch designed explicitly for the needs of the lunar environment. Today, Bulova returns to the original design by updating it with an exclusive high-precision quartz movement, continuing its legacy of precision timekeeping with the men's Bulova Lunar Pilot Chronograph from the Archive Series. The Lunar Pilot Chronograph 98A305 features the same 43.5mm silver-tone stainless steel case as the original model. Slim chronograph pushers and a crown with the Bulova tuning fork logo are positioned at the 3 o'clock position. Beneath the flat sapphire crystal, the six-hand chronograph dial is rendered in space-evoking white, with stark blue accents including the Speedometer ring and retro Bulova logo. The slim hands and applied markers offer exceptional readability and are applied with super luminova to aid reading in low light conditions.
